The annual meeting of the French Phycological Society (#JSPF2025) took place on December 2 and 3, 2025, on the Sorbonne University campus in partnership with the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN). This latest edition was once again rich in scientific exchanges, featuring 39 oral presentations on various topics (micro- and macroalgae, community ecology, chemical ecology, molecular biology, etc.), visits to the MNHN (e.g., cyanobacteria collection, herbarium/algae collection), and social events (lunch and coffee breaks, gala dinner at the Grande Mosquée de Paris). These events were organized by Jeanne Miebach (MNHN), Claire Gachon (MNHN), and Richard Dorrell (HEAL team, CNRS), the local organizing committee, and the SPF executive board’s treasury.
